
CWG 2010 ( Common wealth Games 2010)- Delhi is one of the largest sporting event in this countries after Asiad 82 many years ago . Its has 71 nation participating with 7000 athletes . CWG gives golden opportunity for fmcg brands to advertise to a large section of international market where Indian diaspora is in significant number .Taking the lead for bakery products such as biscuits Parle has made arrangement for CWG 2010.Other major brands are Coca Cola ,Tata motors, Canon , Reebok, Hero Honda
Parle Products is supplying biscuits to be consumed at the venues.
"We are supplying biscuits for the Games through various vendors. The organising committee has appointed seven-eight vendors. So, whatever confectioneries and biscuits they ask us to supply, we do it," Parle Products company official said.
At present, the company is supplying its \'Marie\' biscuits customised specially for the CWG. "There is demand for other brands including Hide & Seek and Parle G," the official added.( source - www.expressindia.com)
