
It has to follow this route to increase its sales as all major biscuit brands are offering 20 - 25% more in wts at same price offer for long .
United Biscuits is trying to attract consumers through new packs as it has offered digestives in ATC( Air tight carton )packs and now cookies in family pack of 166g instead of single pillow packs . The ATC packs has been tried over by major brands but with little success , I think reason being the cost of ATC packs and technical issues of getting better cardboard and equipments to pack biscuits .
