Recent sale of Unibic Australia to consortium of private investors would not have impact to Indian Unibic Unit confirmed by Mr Nikhil Sen . He confirmed while stating that Unibic Australia does not hold any stakes in this Indian firm . Unibic India is leading cookies manufacturer with around 8 % of market share of cookies business dominated by other major player like Britannia , Parle , ITC , United biscuits and many other regional players .
Unibic India promoters are Lazard private equity , Light house Capital and Mr Nikhil Sen himself . Unibic India are co -packers for Pepsi co , Future Tasty treat and Cafe Coffee Day . It also exports its cookies to several countries . Unibic India pays a nominal royalty to use its trade mark and brand name .
